  Interscribe is a New Zealand corporation established to focus on the transcription of medical records for United States, British and Australasian healthcare providers. Interscribe's value proposition is based on:

Capability
We have the key requirements to successfully supply transcriptionists who work from home. Specifically, there is a skilled, trained, English speaking (first language) medical transcription sector already established in New Zealand. This westernized labor force has an understanding of a first world medical system and is capable of delivering value, stability, consistency, security and quality of service that our customers demand of us. New Zealand's telecommunications links are excellent and the New Zealand time zone is ideally suited to serving the United Kingdom and both the West and East coasts of the US.

Cost effective
The provision of this service will be done at a comparable cost to the services provided by international transcribers and their contract providers.

History and ownership
The Company was founded in 2004 by Paul Ryan who has been closely involved in the start-up or management of some of New Zealand's best known technology enterprises. Paul was a founding shareholder and CEO of Walker Wireless, now ‘Woosh Wireless’, and oversaw its establishment as one of New Zealand's largest telecommunications networks by reach.

In April 2006, Far North electricity network company, Top Energy Limited acquired an interest in Interscribe, to complement its PHONEplus Customer Contact Centre operations in Auckland and Kaikohe.

As well as its electricity lines network and Customer Contact Centre businesses, the Top Energy Group includes a geothermal power station at Ngawha, electrical contracting businesses in Northland and in the Fijian Islands, as well as other smaller commercial operations.

The Group has assets of $200 million, employs more than 300 staff and is owned by the Top Energy Consumer Trust, on behalf of the 28,000 power consumers connected to the company's lines network.
